22re rebuild?

hey, i'm getting a 4runner with a dead 22re.
i guess the guy who owned it before almost ran it out of oil a couple of times and then finally did it and i guess it just kinda seized.
so i'm wondering about what i would need to rebuild it.
would it just be a rebuild kit? or is there more involved that that? just kinda curious because i'm having a bit of a time finding another 22re to replace it with.
thanks a lot.

thats pretty much all you need other than honing out the cylinder walls and machining the head,i had mine bored .30 over when i had mine rebuilt.
I recommend getting a new water pump not a reman. For the fact about a week after i got it back mine went out

Check all the clearances and stuff. You might have to get the crank turned too if the motor is seized.
