1994 22re into a 1998 SR5 4runner (v6)?
how difficult is this swap? I have all the needed tools and equipment and i am pretty good with my hands but i haven't worked on toyotas before.

I think i am confused. Are you trying to put a 22RE into a 98 4Runner?
Or are you trying to put a 3.4L 5VZ into a 94 Truck?

Well first of all that will be really under powered...unless you are adding a turbo or somting. The 2.7 is pretty slow even in the 3rd gen.
You will need to build custom motor mounts, you might be able to use the driveline from a 2.7...not sure if it will match up though. Other wise you should be okay I think. Steering colum my need a bit of customizing too... |
