That is pretty cool. Someone call wabbit, I think they swiped his base design and improved it.

add a grinder cut to the base of the wabbits foot for the chain and you have the new high lift base

cool but other than the rotating base, seems like I can do the same thing with mine..

it is not on their website yet...

I still think wabbits base is bigger, but can't say for certain as I haven't ordered one yet.

I think they said 36 sq in
Mines 48 sq in, so yes it's bigger footprint.

I know his is bigger then the regular base but this new one fits 2 4x4s between the "feet" Which is at least 7".

I have been considering asking wabbit if he can make one without the gripper feet or leave them before they bend them over so I'd be able to use the base in my driveway or on rock as well.

I have a piece of 12"x12"x1.5" of engineered plywood (specifically I think this piece was leftovers from an engineered beam) that has the shape of the normal hi-lift base routed out about a quarter inch deep into one of the sides. One of the members of SONTT is a carpenter made them for the club. It works really well for increasing the size of the footprint as well as stability on gravel, soft ground or even slightly unlevel hard ground (like the floor of my shop, which is 6 separate slabs that have cracked over the years into hundreds of chunks and now nothing is flat.). I suppose I could even bolt it on to the existing base if I wanted to for extra stability, but it doesn't try to kick out when on the wider base.
