oh right ladies now for the good pictures (besides wheelin pics)! we have worked on this runner for three and a half weeks now everyday after work and almost all hours during the weekend. i would probably say that this is one of the cleanest swaps done in washington. im not looking to put down anyone elses hard work but this runner is clean underneath. anyone is welcome to come check it out any time. any ways here are some flex pictures.

your runner is damn right sexy if u ask me. i think the tires are perfect. i got the 35x13.5x15 toyos and since my swap i have been looking into 37inch toyo's iroks or wranglers and i must say i am diggin your toyo's. looks good man nice work. hope you got lockers and gears so you can use that flex.

I guess it all depends on how much weight you have on your springs.
I had the chevy's on my 82 and it didn't flex that great in my opinion.
However a flat bed is much lighter than the rear of a 4 runner and I needed to reconfigure my shocks to allow more down travel.

I like the install though very nice job.

thanks for all the great compliments! i think the weight of the runner and how broke in the chevy springs combines to gernerate alot of flex. my brand new trailgear 5" springs in the front flexed so well the drivers side was flat. and i mean flat...just took her out for the first time last night to break in the gears and its kinda sketchy driving this runner. just not used to driving a lifted 4runner yet.lol.

ok so i know its been a while since i have posted any pics so here i go. frist is the rear with the shocks in and the rear done except for my u bolt flip kit that i JUST got..enjoy
so in the picture also you can see we swapped over to a toyota truck height proportioning valve because it bolts to the frame. but we welded it to the frame.

next the rocksliders

ok so i just recieved the 5.29 from TG for the front axle and am in the process of ordering a spool. it took a long time to decide what to run in the rear for a locker and this seems like the right way to go for me. plus I like drving sideways. Here are some pictures in my field taken today.

my co-driver

and in case you didnt know this is my 4runner

Damn that truck looks awesome!! I did a SAS and Chevy's on my 4runner too. I did the TG 3" kit in the front and the 63" springs off a 3/4 ton 4x4 (4 leaf pack). I had to run a 3.5" block to make it level to start. Now that the front has settled I need to take out 1.5" out of the rear.

I like the look of your truck with the larger tires with my 33's it looks a bit funny, maybe its time for 35" after seeing yours with 37"......

yes the spacer is there. i think first i will try to swap the rear springs from side to side and see if that changes anything. second i will weld a 1/4 perch on the right side. cant figure out anything else to do.

Little bit of news today. Went out to bobby longs house yesterday. Got me a new set of longfield super axles. Talked with him a little about whether or not to run an arb locker and what he thought of that. BTW he sold me the axles and hub bearings for 600.00.
Such a nice guy. He was very nice and gave a tour of his rock garden and showed me all his cool toys. But in HIS opinion he dosent like arb lockers and says they are a piece of brown do do. He has detroits in every thing and says to run them instead of an arb. Just him saying that convinced me to drop the arb idea and roll with a detroit. The guy knows what he's talking about. Anyways im super stoked to have his axles and am one step closer to having a bullet proof wheeler.
