Man oh man i never thought that there could be such a positive gain over the old 3VZ. Its a night and day difference in power with 4.11 R&P and just 33's. Even though i'm running way too rich and it stumbles on certain held throttle positions, I am very pleased. Got my gauges hooked up and am working on the speedo...More pics and videos, sorry been going at this runner like a mad man...

If anyone has ever ran into this where the 3.4 runs rich as hell, prolly like 10:1, cause I burned a 1/4 tank going like 10 miles to town and back. The idle is bad, good when cold, but stumbles all the time after that and bucks like it is misfiring. Huge drivability issue that is driving me nuts, and I can't get the scanner to communicate with the PCM and see what the PCM is seeing on top of all of this. AAARRGGGGGHHHHH!

any help is appreciated, thanks guys and gals
btw, i can smoke my 33's now no prob, muahahaha!

Ordered some stuff from trail queer, coilovers and longfields/dirty 30's are next. Got my 1.5"DOM .250 wall in yesterday, along with the poly joints for the axle side. Also ordered the threaded bungs to start making the links. Will get some pics up when I get all the brackets tacked on the axle and links cut. man this stuff takes forever...geesh

what do you guys think of the dirty 30's? are guys snapping them like toothpicks?

Longfields are in and boy are they sexy, got the 2x4 tube in for bumper and tranny/ 3-link crossmember. Hysteer tie rod and drag link are cut, waiting for thread bungs. 5th stud brace on knuckle is done and the only bracket I have left to do on the axle is the panhard rod. Still Fabbing the brackets on the crossmember for the heim joints. Pics by this weekend, been spread a little too thin recently....

Got the FOA 2" coilovers in yesterday. they are pretty good looking, but poor packaging, didn't even wrap the shocks themselves, for how UPS throws stuff around... pics later this weekend.

I talked him down on the longfields, gave him the college student sob story and how I didnt want to buy trail queer's dirty 30's.

The heims are from www.midwestcontrol.com PT#MSM-12z right hand thread. cheapest and strongest ones they have that doesn't have a teflon race. figured steel on steel race would last a little longer and wouldn't have sloppy links 3 months in to driving the dang thing.

the new cross member will be done this sunday and will have some pics, and hopefully have CUT THE FRONT END OFF!!!

I wish I had Uncle Sam to use his tools and shop space, and to call it class. Vegas schools don't do it cause there is the possibility someone may get hurt. Jealous dude. Looking good!

Stafford loans, for all build items, axle, coilovers, highsteer, etc.
This so happens to be my senior project for my Automotive management degree, which the presentation is due June 11. So, technically, "Uncle Sam" is paying for it now, then of course, I will bear the debt.

Thanks man, it is pretty nice having the full labs available to me, thats why I'm busting hump right now to get this done. The shop has one hell of an insurance policy for the students in the lab, haven't seriously hurt myself yet, fingers crossed.

The new rear axle.

Thats about all I got done the last couple of days. Going to do the rear lower links tonight, then that will be it for the rear. Going to position the front with some plumb bobs after I get the front on jack stands, the lift is holding the body crooked right now.
