SAS steering rubbing and binding
Hi guys, as stated i am having problems with binding
The sas kit is from all pro and is 4"
ram is TG 6"
the biggest problem is the tie rod and drag link are interfering with each other when driver tire is stuffed into wheel well
heres some pics of my setup
(note i did not do this swap and the shop dont know beans from dirt)
If anyone has any ideas or suggestions let me know. if nothing else i might just load it and take it to scotty at addicted offroad

like wabbit said...the steering box needs to go forward
what you don't want to have happen when you install your high steer:
The IFS box mount is pretty simple. Cut the fender well so you can easily access the PS box area like shown in my pictures posted already and then push the box all the way forward until it is on the core. Angle it so the holes line up on the frame in the center and then test fit your mounting plates. Tack weld and test fit again to make sure the pitman arm clears and weld out.

FWIW, those are All-Pro u-bolt plates. They are fine.
I agree that the steering box just needs to be relocated forward. I know we've talked a couple times already, so give me a call. We can fix the issue and move it forward for you.
