Sas front drive shaft on a 92 yota
ok I got a 92 Toyota pickup and i can't find any thread talking about where you can get a front drive shaft for the conversion. The only threads I'm finding are saying that you need to get the front drive shaft custom made? Is that the only option I got for the front drive shaft? HELP!

you can also check with a local machine shop, sometimes they can custom make one for about the same price to fit your truck specs.

Any driveshaft shop can make you a new driveshaft because after you SAS your truck your front stock driveshaft will be WAY too short.

In addition to what waskily said, the front IFS cardan joint doesn't have angle for it also. If you don't understand, let me know I will take a picture for you. I still have my front IFS driveshaft. Good luck with your decision, it took me a while to decide.

i was told that i would have to extend the driveshaft that i will use. so say if i get a 85 front axle, would it be better to get a brand new drive shaft and have a drive shaft shop to extend it? or is getting a used drive shaft extended just as good and extended a new driveshaft? Can i get that picture too Jeremy?
