Please tell me you didn't permanantly weld on the hanger before you ever sat the trucks weight on the springs and looked at the shackle angle..... Hopefully those springs work out for you. My spring rate sucks with the 4" ones. I pound the crap out of my bumpstops with my V6 and winch up front.

Good idea to check the shackle angle before fulluy welding on the front hanger. I need ot rememeber that when I start welding my stuff on.

The 3" TG springs are the 2nd highest spring rate springs they sell only just behind the 5" HD's. I have the same kit going on my truck (4runner, v6, winch and bumper) after talking to TG they advised that the 3" would be fine as long as I swapped on a 2wd oil pan. I guess I will find out soon enough. I do not want a huge truck as mine will mainly be for expadition and my tires will never be over 35's right now I'm at 33's and do not see my self going up anytime soon.

I have wheeled with a guy with V6 winch and bumper, with his 4" TG springs the truck saged badly in a few months. He has since swapped to 3" and has had no problem since in 2 years of use.

I'm really looking forward to seeing your truck on the ground.

Ah, there was some bracket in the way of where we needed to torch the holes for those shackle sleeves. When we cut that off, there was a hole. This created for a very thin wall between the existing hole and where the shackle sleeves went. Hence the extra bracing

I wish I had the money to pay someone else to do it

It's been a fun project though, I have a buddy helping me out who has done a couple of these, so it's not too bad.
