need help!

I've been looking on threads and can't figure out if I use the trail gear highsteer kit do I use my original Pitman arm on my 89' or what do I need if not?

How do I set the preload on the wheel bearings?

No, the Trail-Gear high steer kit, and all of them that I can think of, use FJ80 rod ends at all ends of the steering links, so you'll need a pitman arm that has a hole in the end rather than the stud that is on your stock pitman arm.

For the wheel bearings, there's a bit of a complex way to do it. I don't know it off the top of my head, but if you search for "wheel bearing preload setting" in the pre 84, 84-85, or 86-95 Pickup/4Runner sections and someone has posted it, step by step.

Yes. They have a version with the same amount of drop as stock or they also have a flat version so people can go with whatever works or is their preference for relocating the steering box.
