i just parted someones project (extra cab on reg cab frame.) it was a mess all i have to do is throw a 4x4 rear end with some decent springs in and sas the front then throw my w56 trans and top shift t-case in. really i hate wires i dont wanna mess with bobbing a bed on both sides and i really like the wheel base of extra cabs. in my eyes a sas bolt a rear end in and swap a trans seems a lot easyer.

i just threw up a little... i really think i may have nightmares...
i would start soaking that engine in degreaser now so when it comes time you just hit it with the pressure washer, it will prolly need new plugs/wires/cap/rotor any way so just blast it down, then hit it with some acid... mmmm i likey a clean engine..
eck just threw up some more...

so when i put the rear axle in i noticed a few things, the stock 2wd u-bolts fit around a 85 rear axle and act as a u-bolt flip kit but the shock mounts are in the wrong spot(im gonna triangulate the rear shocks later when i put lift springs in). and also this might help some people, i screwed both the 2wd and 4wd rear break lines together and made a nice long one.
