bushings or joints on front 3 link?

I want to build a 3 link up front when i do my SAS. I've just started my research and i know i still have a lot to learn, but i have a few questions i'm still not clear on. First is i've seen people use rod ends on both ends of their links and i've seen some use rod ends at the axle and bushings at the frame. Is this just a preference or should you use rod ends on both sides of the links? My other question was when trying to get the correct percent of anti dive do you need the suspension and coils to be at ride height to correctly measure the instant center or how do you know if it's correct? sorry if these have been answered somewhere else but i've looked and haven't been able to find anything. Thanks for the help and if you have any other input please let me know. Like i said i've just started my research and haven't began mocking anything up or making parts yet.
