'94 XtraCab Pickup SAS using '85 Pickup

I didnt know what to search for this question and I figure there is no harm in asking. I bought an entire '85 pickup for pretty cheap and I was wondering if I can SAS my '94 with just parts from the '85???? If not, what do I need to get. I am trying to do this as cheap as possible right now, and then I will spend the money later on a better suspension system. Also if you know of a thread pertaining to this question a link wouldn't hurt. THANKS YOTATECH!

You could sort of...you would still need a spring hanger kit or make your own and also would need to go hi steer as your 85 probably has stock push / pull and that's not compatible with the steering box on your 94. You'd also need to come up with some shocks and build some front upper mounts. Is the 94 a V6? If so then it might ride awful low on the factory front spring and you may have oil pan clearance issues too, not sure though. I think you'd be better off saving some money and at least buying a spring, hanger, u bolt flip kit and doing that to start with. Of course it's easier to rebuild the axle and have it regeared while it's all out too....you can see where this is going and how easy it is to snowball!! haha don't ask me how I know
