I used spacers because I wanted everything to strong and simple. This is my DD so I really didn't want to make the ifs hubs work by drilling and grinding with a chance of anything to possibly go wrong on me, rather just keep it like it was built to be.

I used RUF.. Started with a rear pack from a 2WD 83 and used the two main springs from that then two more springs from an 84 rear pack which I cut to fit and the very bottom was a middle leaf from the stock front springs. 5 leaves total; the leaf from the front springs keeps it a little stiffer and not super bouncy or anything but its a great ride improvement over IFS that's for sure!

Nice, so any rubbing issues, ect?

What shocks did you end up with? Part number?

The only rubbing issue I can see would be on the driver side.. if I stuff that tire into the wheel well and crank it all the way to the right; I think it'll rub the steering box a bit. The wheels I got have a 4.5" backspace so it really tucks the wheels in closer. Other than that everything seems good. Once I get my bumpstops in I can really check full droop but I think I'll be alright. As for shocks I went cheap and just ordered the 12" travel Pro Comps. I can get you a part number later, the boxes are stashed in the garage somewhere haha.. I've never really been one to tell differences in shocks but I was thinking about picking up some Bilsteins because of what I keep hearing.. So we'll see.

Haha yeah that was me. We're you in that group of people I drove by? Ahaha. Yeah I have a front drive in but i need to get it extended still. Drives good up to 35mph in 4x4 but starts to vibrate because its only splined in like 2 inches if that..
