86 turbo pickup SAS/ coil suspension

I am picking up a set of Dana axles for my pickup. I think it is a 44 front and 60 rear, with a width of 62 inches. These will be going on my 86 turbo toyota pickup xtra cab. I have been highly debating a front coil suspension instead of leafs, and possibly the rear also. I was going to see if there was anyone who has done this, or has a write up on it as to how hard it would be. I am planning on this being my summer project, as I will be in Nevada, and by some awesome wheeling territory. Let me know if anyone has some input, and here is a pic of my truck!

Most people do coils in the rear first. Are you thinking like a 4 link or 3 link rear suspension?

I was thinking 3 link cause I think I can get a little more articulation out of it. but then I saw this guys setup and really like it. He made 2 triangle pieces for the rear axle, and attached one corner to the diff, then to the frame, and vice versa from axle to frame.

Yeah that does look like a good setup, never seen one like that. If you want to check out some 4link setups http://www.pirate4x4.com/welcome1.php is your best bet. Someone else on here to me to go over there. I cant make up my mind though. If i was gona do a 4link i would almost want to go to 60's front and rear. How come your putting a D 44 in the front of yours?

I think that is what my buddy is selling. he bought them for his jeep, but he needs a drivers side drop for front diff, and the axle is a pass drop which is what I need. He said they came off a 84 ramcharger, but I need to go look at them. I have not checked pirate4x4 yet, but have gotten on there in the past. I need to check all my options, cause I want to wheel this summer, not work on the truck the entire time, so a front leaf swap may be the way to go, but we will see.

ORS has a 3-link kit for the front. It's pricey to say the least but should take out a lot of the guess work.
