Newbie to off road community

Hi, My name is Jeff Johnson I just bought a 1989 1st Gen. 4Runner. I've only had it a week and I love it. There are a few things that are a most that I would like to change. Like the body lift the previous owner put on it. Any advice on cheapest way to remove it? I've been told to switch the rubber bushings to poly bushings. I'm in Southern cali for 3 more weeks for work and I would like to do a few up grades before I leave. I would like to put a header on it. take the 31's off and add 33's if anyone know a cheap place for labour on gears I'd like to change to 4.88. Electric Fan and maybe a few other upgrades depending on the money. I'm moving to Cheyenne WY and I would like for it to be ready for the long road ahead. Just wondering if there is a PDF repair manual download. I'm new to all this so I really appreciate all the help given.

www.eautorepair.net it cost 11.99$ per car, and you can view it for 8 days...if your computer savvy there are ways to save it (because you can't just copy the text)

Just bought it for my 84 and its pretty in-depth and tons of diagrams

cheap gear set up doesn't mean you will make it to Cheyenne with it. but if you want cheap/free do it yourself: http://gearinstalls.com/

Removing the body lift and stuffing 33's???
Yes they should fit but if you are heading on a road trip I'd keep the 31's till you get to where you're going.
To pull the body lift you have to keep an eye on the break lines, clutch lines/auto cables, shifters/boots, steering (may have spacers in the linkage from the firewall to the steering box), shorter bolts, I know I'm missing a few things here. Maybe rad supports...

I think it's more work taking it out than putting one in.

Bumpers will most likely need to be relocated.
There's a place in North County (Vista I think) that does r&p set ups for $225. If you want the info, I will look around for their card and give you their number.
