Newb
Hey everyone. My name is Jeff and I currently live in Topeka, KS. I lived in Colorado till I was 10 when we moved here. My whole family digs Toyota's. 3 uncles have had pickups, one uncle has had a couple 4Runner's, mom had a 4Runner, grandfather had Tacoma, dad's had many Toyota's, etc.
When I was younger my aunt, uncle, mom, and me would go "off roading" in our stock 4Runners. That was many many years ago so I don't remember much. I'm not new to the idea of off roading but I am new to actually doing it. My plan right now is to go to school in January for automotive mechanics and collission repair. Then move back to Colorado and start working in a shop and hopefully open up my own off road shop down the road. My truck is an '88 4Runner with a rebuilt salvage title I picked up for $900 about a month and a half ago. It has Rancho shocks all around, Rancho steering stabilizer, Gibson muffler, K&N air filter, etc. It also has 31x10.5 tires which I forgot to put in my signature. I'm not looking to do anything too serious yet since I'm new. I do have a few questions but I'll try and see if I can't get them answered by searching. I hope to meet lots of new people and hopefully go wheeling with some of you ![]()

That's my friend Bethany. She wouldn't eat Taco Bell outside the truck lol. And yeah, not sure what color I wanna paint her. I was kinda thinking white body with black top and black rims. But idk. . .any ideas?

I really like that blue! Nice runner's yourself man. When I lived in Colorado my mom's friend had an amazing '88 4Runner that was lifted, V6, 5 speed, etc. He tried selling it right before he moved and my mom tried to buy it (she had a '90 4 cyl 5 speed at the time) so I would have something to drive when I turned 16 but he wouldn't sell it cause it "had too many miles". Wtflip? Toyota's are reliable lol. Oh well. This is mine now.
I did some looking and I think I'm gonna go with the OME 2" lift and maybe a 1" body lift if I can't fit the 33's without rubbing. Then Downey front and rear bumpers, 4.88 gears, lock-rite in the rear, and rock sliders. We'll see ![]()
