New to Yotatech.

Hi, I'm Buhundred and i'm new to yotatech. I dont have a license yet but my dad owns a Cardinal red 1996 Toyota 4runner rwd and i'm really interested in it because its the only suv that anyone in my family owns and its kind of cool to know i guess . I'm like always washing it because the paint was in bad shape but I got some products and it shines! This place seems awsome and has helped me alot!

i'm new here as well. i have always liked the look of a yota its just something about them, so when i turned 17 and had the money i finally got this one. i want to do a lot of mods to it in the future. currently i have 31"s on it and an AEM air intake.

which brings me to a question. does anyone have any suggestions on how to make my ride accel faster. it just seems kind of slow to me, but maybe it aint idk. thanks and the site is awesome.

Haha, i'm tryin to buy a trueflow air filter for it. I know its only rwd but i wanted to buy a 2 inch spacer lift for it so i asked my dad and one word came out of his mouth-NO! Oh well, but at least he likes that Jaos skid plate.

AU300Mod-R Try searching and you shall find

As for you Buhundred...

Welcome!

Its time to take that 4runner over and start

I met a few people from the forum and they told me about it all and since then I have gone from bone stock to full out crawler. This place has helped me tremendously throughout the years and Im sure it will do the same to you. Get your licence already and get out there and enjoy.

Welcome,
Phil

Try looking in the forums, there should be a tutorial for it.

I liked Toyotas for a long time, since I was maybe 5 I guess. I remember there used to be a 2nd gen 2-door 4runner in my town when I was maybe in 2nd grade and one day I was going to school and saw it on the main street of my town and it was in a side impact with a grand cherokee. I was quite amazed to see a vehicle that rare to be crashed. I've seen quite alot of yotas when I was a kid. My uncle had an 89 camry which my dad now owns and my other uncle owned an 84 camry ( i remember the time it reached 200,000, he was amazed) He gave the 84 to the salvation army. My mom also owned a 97 camry which my aunt bought and crashed in 2006. She hates Toyotas and doesnt understand how they are reliable and thinks BMW's are better, i'm not such a fan of BMW's, my other aunt drives a 3 series 07 and the air con is already broken! My dad also owned a 93 camry. That was the first car I ever sat in. So as you can see, my family has had ALOT of toyota's
