Greetings,

Just fell into a 85 4X4 pickup. My neighbor had to get rid of it. It's been sitting for several years and has 77K on it. The engine is in very good condition other that running rich and not passing emissions after sitting for the past 8 years. Its very straight and rust free. I'm thinking about converting it to EFI as I drove a 86 Celica for 20 years and really liked the way it ran. Could anyone point me in the right direction as far a information on donors and a parts list?

Thanks,

Dave...

I've been rebuilding a 70 Bronco for a couple of years now and don't really know anything about the Toyota. I know that they have a reputation of being a damn good, reliable truck. Any intrinsic value in this one? I need another vehicle like I need another hole in the head but I couldn't pass it up since it was basically given to me.

I've owned 1 of everything and my toyota has 260k on the clock, original motor - no rebuild.

Doesn't burn oil or leak. Love it to death. Definitly will not buy another

Here's what Im considering so far:

1. EFI conversion
2. Loose the 3 inch body lift and install a suspension lift. Springs seem kinda saggy
3. Selectable locker(s)
