New to the forums, thought I would say Hi.

I was surfing the net looking for information on my 84 Pickup. She is not pretty to look at but it is what I use for hauling house hold junk around.

Anyways here are some pics after I installed new KYB Shocks in the front and adjusted the torsion bars for better ride height.

The red car is my 91 Supra Turbo.

Pics before with blown shocks and lowered.

Before new shocks

Pics with new shocks and adjusted torsion bars.

LOL,

It is a pretty basic truck. 22RE Extra Cab, 5 Speed, 2WD, Power windows, 298,800 kms on the clock.

Here are some pics of the Supra. I am in the middle of upgrading the head and brakes. I purchased a ported and polished, 5 angle valve job with 1mm oversized valves.

A pic after I finished installing my new stereo.

very clean supra 7MG-TE is a damn good motor, not quite up to par with the 2JZ but you can still build the crap out of them you should post up pics when you work on your supra also, just for eye candy

I have two torsion bars. Maybe on the 4X4 it is? I do not know much about the differences in the trucks.

Here is a pick of the shock absorber in the front.

Thanks,

It is nice to see people appreciate other rides on here.

I have a lot of pics of working on the truck and the Supra. I only wanted to post a few pics of the truck as a “testing waters” post.

The 7MGTE is a great motor if one can overlook the head gasket issues. But..with ARP head bolts one can tighten it down and take care of the issue.
Yesterday I ordered up new KYB GR2 Shocks for the rear for the truck. It seems that now I have a tight front end, but when I hit a bump in the rear I hear a “squish” I will look at the leaf springs when I replace the shocks.

I am running the GR2’s on the Supra and Avalon and have had no complaints.
