Hi everyone
Hi. My name is Sam, I live in Logan Utah. I have an 86 truck that is coming along slow, but nicely. Has a brand new motor in it, not sure what transmission, as the previous owner put 5 different ones in it. New clutch, locker in the rear, onboard air, new Warn 8274 on front. All the usual tools and tidbits we all carry or probably should. Any way just wanted to introduce myself, and if there are any of ya'll local to me, we are always looking for more Yota's to join our little group. By the way, if anyone has a good argument to help me with the wife I'd be interested to hear. Am trying to talk her out of her Jeep Cherokee and into a 4Runner.

Thanks
Yeah, been telling her that. And she knows my Yota can make it a lot more places than the Jeep can. But I will say this, slightly in the Jeep's defense, for some reason, even with 160,000 on the ticker, the 4.0 in the Jeep gets 28mpg on the highway. Can't explain it, but we have figured the mpg with 3 different formulas, and always comes out to 24-28. My Yota only gets 22. But has a Weber carb, and a cam, so I didn't go into the motor build with mileage in mind. But always know a Yota will outwheel a Jeep any day. |
