Hey

Im pretty new to the site and to Toyotas as well.

Recently picked up a 87 4Runner - here it is:

It has some clutch issues, possibly some engine issues too. Hopefully, I will do a solid axle swap and get rid of the nasty red interior. Any suggestions on what to do with the interior? I also want to build some stout bumpers. Can anyone point me to some bumper building threads?

Anyway, good looking site - I hope you can teach me some stuff and dont mind answering my stupid questions.

I am also heavily into diesel trucks - so if you have any Cummins questions, Id be happy to help.

Well, I would have been happier with grey.

I shouldnt complain too much - with the removable top, it will be lots of fun.

That is a really clean 4Runner. Has it been in Canada the whole time? Surprised not to see any rusting.

I have to agree about that color for the interior. If it wasn't for the dash, ceiling, door panels, etc. I would just get Wet Okole seat covers in the color you like along with some new carpet. But it seems like a lot of work to get your ceiling, dash and panels to match the color you'll want. If you can get all those peices off and hit them with some vinyl paint go for it!
