Hello i am new here

Well just thought i would introduce myself my name is Trent Swafford, i live in Athens, Tennessee, and i recently bought a locked up 85 straight axle efi toyota pickup, i am building it for trail riding and mudding.

Me and my dad are the mechanics of the truck, we actually unlocked the motor and got it running again in just a couple of days, i was surprised what a little tlc would do for an old gem like that truck.

but anyways if you got any questions for me or need to tell me anything feel free, i aint a bad guy i am always wanting to know more info so fill me full of it guys lol

Welcome to the family.
Good to hear you got the engine working again... you'll find that those 22r/re series engines are bullet proof. they were designed to almost run forever with only a modicum of maintenance in some fairly harsh environments so imagine what they can do if you look after them.
Now... where's the pics?!
