hello. :)
Hey, I just bought my 4runner yesterday (4/1) and have been researching all the mods to do to it and came across this place in google and am very happy i did.
![]() I'm not sure about most of you but the 4runner was actually my dream truck. When i was about 8 a guy lived down the road from me and had a late 80's 4runner that was lifted and I absolutely loved it. Ever since then I've wanted one. Well now that I was just in an accident that totalled my old buick, I used all the insurance money to purchase my first 4runner. It's a 1995 toyota 4runner 6cyl 2WD. Here's a picture i took a few hours ago on my cell. I suppose I should have set the image size bigger but oh well.. ![]() It's all stock with 130k miles but what can you expect for only $3500.00? Well let me know what you think. ![]()

Welcome to YT.
![]() Nice looking 4Runner. My guess is those running boards will not be long attached if YT has it's usual influence upon you as it has on others. ![]()

hah, Already been considering it but my only worry is the rocks/gravel flying up if i remove them. I don't have any mudflaps to put on at the moment and I'd hate to make the body worse than it already is. I took the picture from the angle I did to not show the oxidation on the hood.
In the next few months once i've replenished my funds and pay off my credit card i'm going to have it repainted the same color.

nice a 2wd 4runner would be perfect for cruising around california....if your not into offroading you dont need a 4wd and if you get into offroading maybe you could tow with the 2wd??i tow my 4banger with my other 4banger although yota tech will tell you you cant...
good luck and nice truck i like the grey color.. is it a stick shift or auto?

Yeah, I remember as soon as I got on here, things started happening to my 4runner. Got 31'' tires (biggest tires you can run on your 4runner with the stock gearing).
Then I took off the runningboards, added some tint, and got my Yotatech sticker ![]() Welcome to the family. Don't worry about 2wd. I have it too. If you ever want to convert to 4wd (and trust me thoughts will always cross your mind) you can always get a new 4x4 tranny and it will fit. Soon you will want to swap your engine and do all kinds of crazy stuff! Welcome!
