Just a reminder based upon some emails I have been fielding...

1. Rigs on this run must be "Street Legal", that is registered, with current plates and the driver must be properly insured. The FS roads we will be on are patrolled by the county Sheriff as well as the Forest Circus. In our visits out there, we FREQUENTLY get stopped to chat with them. Most of the time they are cool about things like fender flares and mudflaps and the like, but just a heads up, you are supposed to be "Street Legal" in all that implies to be on these roads. http://www.wattora.com/walaws/

2. Like ALL WATTORA runs, this is an alcohol free event. You MAY NOT drink and drive during the event. No, not even one beer. Most of the WATTORA members believe very strongly in this WATTORA/TTORA policy, me among them. Do not drink during the event... you will not like the outcome. Fair warning.

There, that covers fully three quarters of the mail I have been answering...

He he he...
Sorry, but I am waiting on a packet from Boeing with my paper work in it to get called back.

It comes by certified mail, and it was mailed on the 18th, and the woman from Boeing thinks it will show up today, so I gotta be home to sign for it, or it delays me getting my job back with them.

I will make it to next years for sure, and it may be my rig, or perhaps something a little newer

Have fun up there, I really wish I could make it.
And if someone does indeed get to ride with Rob, make use of the "Oh Poop" handle very often, you will need it

Rob's rig handles like its on rails, and will surprise you how well it can handles those old logging roads up there.
My rig would have flipped or over/under steered, but his rig is at home up there.
I am very impressed with it, and the way he handles it.
