VA people, maybe another GWNF trip, 11-4 or 5

im looking to get my 88 4runner out on the trails, its finally drivable after much work. i wanna give it a good shakedown run, see how things do, plus it would give me some interstate time to see how it handles.

are there any good places farther north than harrisonburg not wanting to go up to PA or anything, trying to keep it close to my dads, so if something breaks on it. i heard about a trail in edinburg, not supposed to be much, but its dirt. anyone know anything?

ill let you know what my plans are.

I would love to go back to the GWNF. I also am planning another run to Devil's Ditch. I was talking to a localish guy from ih8mud, he is planning a trip with some LCs to the ditch. That place is a lot of fun and a great place to test.

LAst time I was there, no sliders were needed, but from what I understand there are some nasty spots I am definately intrested SOON

Keep me in the loop on this, I also want to get my BII out to test the repairs/mods I've done to it.

Definitely interested in goin, Runnerboy, i could swing through blacksburg (currently takin a sem off from VT) on my way up and give you a ride, since you probably have a better idea of where the trails are

I haven't been there in years, but it is about the most boring trail ever. You can run it all in 2wd, so I wouldn't bother with it. (Especially if you're taking your SAS'd runner ).

There are definitely some tougher spots in Madison/Devils Ditch. Last time I was there we had a stock Rubicon with us. That thing was really low, but he made it through everything okay.

I'd head out there with you guys, but I have a wedding to go to on 11/5.

dont think im gonna be able to get out next weekend. seems everytime i turn around a new problem comes up. fuel gauge all of a sudden doesnt work and i need to spend a little time getting the alignment decent. im not gonna be able to get those things done tomorrow before i head back to school. maybe someother time, once i have time to figure it all out.

I'm need to bail on this one too since I have to go to Denver for an 8-week gig, so I won't be back until around New Year's. Maybe we can get out and do some winter wheeling when I get back.

I am thinking about heading to Devils Ditch on Sautruday the 4th. I was going to camp, but the wife is too pregnant for any more trips this year. So instead I will make a day trip.

The 11-12 are out for me. I have to go to Northern Va for my sister's b-day

what about a run the third weekend in November. It seems some have commitments both next weekend and the following. the cold doesn't bother me.

I could be down for Devils Ditch next weekend and the third or GWNF the third weekend.
