Tahoe advice

I am thinking about going with a bunch of friends up to Tahoe for a weekend of camping/4wheelin... i was thinking about going on the Barney Riley Trail and/or the Eagle Lakes Trail. First, are these trails any good and second are they "do-able" by my stock 94 4Runner and my buddy's stock ford Ranger? also Let me know if anyone else in interested in joining us....

I've never been to either trail but I might be interested in meeting up with you guys. What weekend are you going?

Sounds good. Keep me informed. I'll ask around about those trails and others in the area. I know there are quite a few members around this area, I'm sure there will be more interest in getting together.

I just did Barney Riley 2 days ago with 7 other Tacomas. It's a little rougher that past years, but even the stockers had no real problems with it. It's pretty nice right now because the river is down low enough to cross so you can camp on the hot-tub side of the river. I'd say it probably wouldn't be too bad for you guys. We got a stock Tahoe in there last year so anything's possible!

We also had a couple groups do Eagle Lakes and they enjoyed it. I personally haven't been up there in about 3 year though so I have no idea what shape it is in.
