noob carnage walk through run CO

We (russel aka vwfastg60) are going to make this a "walk the noobs thru carnage" run. This is open to all makes and levels of rigs. This will be a slow and highly spotted run. We are thinking somewhere around 4-5pm, meet in longmont. So far we have: travis in an '02 Taco, russ in an '87 Long bed, pat in a '90 4runner, and me in an '84 long bed. It should be a great run! I look forward to seeing ya'll out there!

I might be able to make it - but it would be at least 5PM before I could be there.

For those that don't know, Carnage is a trail many different levels of rigs can have fun on. Almost all of the obstacles have 3 lines - bypass, built, and better bring a buggy. It is however, a HARD trail. At least one locker is HIGHLY recommended. If you do not have at least sliders, some body damage is a real possibility even with good spotting and driving.

Good points Ric, I didn't mean to scare anyone off, just want people to know what they're getting into!

It probably wouldn't be a problem to push this back to six. (haven't talked to anyone else, but shouldn't be a prob if you want to go)

Ric: Are you gonna try to make it? It should be fun!

All: It would great to meet more yotatechers!

I might be able to make this one - I'll check my work schedule tomorrow and see what's up.

Lefthand is too close for me not to show up . You guys shooting for 5:00 at the trailhead, or in Longmont? I'll probably just meet you at the trailhead - just let me know what time you think you'll be up the canyon.

How about 6:00 (or a little before to be on the trail by 6:00)?

Ok so travis and i were talking a second ago, He gets off at 4:30ish(meaning 5) hes going to run home change and meet me at IntaJuice on south hover. Sometimes we sit down there so if any of the longmont people want to meet us there and caravan up we can do that. 6 sounds like a good time to be at the trail head so lets plan on that.

If your planning on meeting the longmont people and dont know where your going or are running late but planning on showing up give me a ring.

Have fun.

I tend to piss people off on runs like this. I will not be attending.
