Holcomb creek trail

I'm planning on doing this trail Saturday the 19th, it's a tough one so only rigs that can handle a bit of rock crawling should attend.

I know this group will be heading up there; http://www.4wdlow.com/runs.htm

Jeff L. will be leading a run in the Big Bear area. The meeting place will be at the IHOP @ 9:00 AM in Big Bear City. The trails to be run will be decided later. If your not going to be at the Rubithon, this is a great way to spend Father's Day. You can contact Jeff at myfzj80@yahoo.com for more info.

And this from the TTORA board;

We ended up with 4 rigs on JohnBull trail and 5 for Holcomb Creek. Our first break down occured at the trail head, the SAS'ed PU broke off his T-Case shifter. The TJ pulled a rear shock off it's lower mount, other than that it was an enjoyable day. The surprise of the day was how well Lance's 4th gen handled the trails.

Lance, which trails did you do? I hope big bear is our next big run, I want to see the trails up there.
Oh yeah, got any closeups of the tire carrier? I haven't seen it mounted yet.
I take it you're back from AK. I couldn't email you the vids I wanted to, they were to big for my email service. Could I just ftp them to you? email me the info again please Thanks--Robert

John Bull and then Holcomb creek

Sliders are a must. There's actually quite a few trails up there (too many to name) so it'll be great for all levels.

Just need an Adventure Pass if it's gonna be an overnight stay...

Those can be purchased anywhere though (Sports Chalet, SportMart, REI etc etc).

I'd like to do one since it's close. Maybe we can get some of the SD guys to join us!!! Since I know they'll want to do it if it's a weekender.

That would probably work for me, I just have to switch the weekend I asked for(Pismo)to that weekend. With gas prices the way they are, I don't think I'll be making the Pismo trip. If we're camped in one of the many campsites, I don't think we'll need to buy the adventure pass. We would still only be on the trails for a day trip, they don't know we're not driving all the way back home at the end of the day.
