If you haven't headed out yet (next week sort'a, or exactly next week?), head to Silverton and work the Animas Creek area. Lots of mild to slightly tough to a little nasty stuff up there, and you can actually get somewhere if you want to drive on through. I even took my WRX over Cinnamon Pass a few years ago.
Pick up a DeLorme map book in Durango and it's got lots of well-documented action in it. There are a few good adventure shops in Durango with decent guidebooks too. There's a week of stuff to do around there, even in a stockish rig. STICK |
