Hmmmmmm, If work allows I MIGHT be able to. But it would be a toss up between offroading and installing the winch, wiring, and a few other odds and ends...

When you get back, be sure to post up a report section. I am dying to know what the snow levels are like at elevation, so i can finally get out again.

Never been on those trails, are they nice? I'm a Colorado native and live in Allenspark. I work in Longmont and spend a lot of time in Boulder as well.

Be sure to post some pics when you get back.

I'm going up Bunce on Sunday and taking some pics. (can't really say "up to Bunce", 'cause for me it's "down to Bunce").

If i was a betting man - I'd say 3 to 4 foot drifts still covering that trail. Luckily, I'm not a betting man. With the weather report - I'm gonna spend another weekend home - wrenching on a final few projects. Do post up a report.

I'm hoping it won't be a winchfest. I do not yet have a winch, I am hoping that it will be mostly cleared... Now you got me scared. Ric, whatcha think?

Im not sure, when Edie went up to Vail yesterday, she said from what she could see (from I-70) that side of the mountain had very little snow, just small patches, but the trail is on the other side, lol.
you all are welcome to come, Ive got a winch, and straps, but I dont think it will be that bad, the weather has been warm and sunny lately. if it is, we can just cruse down to Yankee or something esle.

hanksyota,
its a very easy trail, stockers have no problems. but thats in the summer with no snow, lol

i have no clue how to read that thing. it looks like it just shows snow/rain that is in the area, but if you zoom in as far as they let you, which is like 3 clicks from all the way, it looks like there is snow on the ground. does that make sense? i have no idea. ha. i might just give it a shot. ric, if the stocko cant make it, can i hop in with ya? we can talk KC Chiefs talk. ha. let me know.

No, that's a weather map and the pics themselves are old. I'm pretty sure it won't tell you whether or nor there is snow on the ground.....if you pan over to A-Basin it looks like there's very little snow there (assuming I'm reading it right_ - I KNOW that's not the case. Basin still has plenty 'o snow.....

Yeah, I'm in but spot me a little time at the meeting place. So now we have another winch and a 'heavy' anchor. I'm a bit tired of the white stuff so if it is bad can we take so snow shots and move on to lower elevation?
