Thanks, guys!
Chicken, I guess you must have later found the details on the wheel question that you had here, eh? (MT Classic II, 16x8, 4 9/16" BS). They're nice, but are no longer shiny like they are when new. Tough to keep clean when you go out every other week or so. Cleanser has been my sole cleaning solution to this point (I know the detailing gods are just thrilled to hear that), but it's good enough for me. |

Man, I have wheel envy...
And scenery envy... (STILL WAITING FOR THAT ONE). Living in savannah sucks on the scenery aspect. Though... all have to do is go to the beach and get a whole different sort As usual, great looking pics of a great looking truck. ONE DAY... ONE DAY I will have ClassicIIs and a tire carrier!! Oh well, I can dream still.

Gee Darren,
Thanks for posting the wonderful pics of one of my favourite places on the planet. You really made my homesickness for CO that much worse! |

One of these days I will actually make it out there. I just have to get over the drive out there.
Until then your pictures and trip reports will just have to do. As usual, excellent job Darren!

Sorry about that, Lee! Guess you didn't have to view the thread!
And thanks, Blu! Interesting to have a few Californians reply in this thread. Are there no comparable hot spot areas to drive through out there, ones that really take you above it all with great mountain views? Surely there must be. Any in the Sierras at all? |

Darren:
Ran Imogene yesterday to Ouray, and then returned via black bear pass to Telluride. 5 guys in the rig, doing the steps in the rain made for quite an interesting afternoon. that was my inagural black bear run this season... let me know when you make it down my way again. dsp |
