Any one besides me like "Charlie Brown" Christmas trees. If you don't know here in WA we can purchase a X-mas tree tag to go harvest a tree. We did this the year before last and had a blast. We really had no idea where to go but had great fun none the less. Just curious if anyone else would be interested in making it a group run?

Would like to plan it before the 17th of Dec as I've got family inbound and would be akward ditching them so would be limited to a store bought tree.

I posted up on NW too, might be able to tag along with a group that knows more about this area than I do. Seems there's a group that goes and makes a day of it with sledding, hot choco, the works.

The tag we purchased the year we went was from the little store heading towards Elbe as we went up by Paradise. It still rather early so don't know when the tags are for sale.

yah I read some of the threads. All from last year. I'd love to get a tree, but the closest would be to drive over to forks area and pluck one from the forest ...

what suggestions you have?
