2nd Annual Chicago Toyota Jamboree

The Cliffs Insane Terrain Offroad Park
Marseilles Il
July 25, 26, 27
The Cliffs Insane Terrain

Rates

$35/vehicle for the 1st day. Any additional days will only be $10/vehicle.

This is cheaper than a normal weekend at the cliffs!! And it includes a BBQ on saturday night.

The snack shack lady will be doing breakfast at the cliffs on saturday morning. $5 gets you eggs, sausage, pancakes.....the usual stuff.

Last year was great success with about 65 trucks over the course of the weekend.

This will be open to ALL Toyota 4x4's (mini's, cruisers,fjc's...) But of course anyone who wants to wheel is welcome.

Friday: Setup camping, meet and greet, free roam wheeling.

Saturday: Meet in the lot at 9am for a drivers meeting, guided trail runs, free roam, BBQ.

Sunday: Free roam wheeling.

Last years raffle was huge and everyone stepped up huge! this year looks like it will be bigger!

CAMPING

Camping at the Cliffs, in the park, $10 per site/rig, no hook up.
Camping will be up in the park at a private grass camp site with access to the road.

Some pics from last year

Should I just call your # posted above?
You can call if you want.

If you want to replace the nuts anyway then nevermind, just do it the old fashion way.

toyota-eric, when are you thinking you want to do this?

Joe, does this mean your knee feels better? Are you in for Oshkosh?

Ive got a pair of spoons he could use too.

As for Oshkosh, i could do friday and/or saturday, but i got hosed into working sunday. Knee is getting better, it will be a while before i'm back playing basketball, but its good enough that i can spend all day walking on it.

4rnr, It says camping will have access to the road. I will be arriving after 5:00, which would be after hours according to the cliffs website. Do I access the camping from the road then? If so which road would that be? I am looking at a map here and it looks like either 1st ave. or wilson st. Any info on that situation would be great.

Good question.

Dont count on access from the road. Come into the lot. If the lot is closed. Call my cell 708 466 0394. The camp site is in the park.

If you are coming in at 5 on friday dont worry the gate will be open and we will be in the lot getting the towrigs up the hill

GREAT EVENT

A lot of improvements from last year

Camp grounds were great. Nice view, quiet

Good turn out as well, about 45 rigs.

The trails were nice and dry...well about as dry as they get there. So most rigs could venture into the interior and see a bit more.

Night activities were also fun, I bet Clint woke up in a cold sweat last night remembering saturday night.

Congrats Clint on winning the winch!

Good Raffle. Thanks Carl from Outback Offroad for donating the truck safe, Thanks to The Cliffs for donating day passes, t-shirts, stickers, 4 50$ gift certificates to JC Whitney, a strap, key chains. Thanks Vicky (Bills/X-factor's wife) for the B.E. COOL ties. Thanks Tony and advanced auto parts for a box of goodies (tools, lights..) I hope i didnt forget anyone.

HUGE thanks to Phil for the BBQ!!! and for trail leading! Also thanks Scott for trail leading. Thanks Tom for leading the hardcore group.

Huge thanks to Steve and Tom and everyone at the cliffs for helping make sure this event was a success!!

Post up your pics!

well, I just got back from my month long, cross-country 4-wheelin trip that started with this event.
Many thanks to John and Joe, and Tom for leading the hardcore group and always pointing out the harder line for me. Also, for letting me use his shop and lift to replace a birfield.
I had a blast and will be back next year with some more Minnesota Yotas.
