What the heck is a vetronix tester? I've never heard of it... my mech. might be interested and is planning a trip down your way in a few weeks.

It's the official Scantool used at Toyota dealers across the US. Programmed just for Toyota / Lexus vehicles. Views all the exclusive data and performs all the exclusive tests. It was used in dealer's up to the year 07 when Snap-on Hardrives and Panasonic Toughbooks were integrated into Service departments. It should be noted that the Scan-tool can still be used on the 07+ vehicles but only able to perform more basic functions.

I thought this thread might start getting some attention if I were to repost it. The last time I posted it (a week ago) with some 3VZ-FE Gaskets I never got any questions so it's nice to see some. The deal is I picked up this guy to use while I was working exclusively at Toyota / Lexus Dealers. Now that I have switched fields (well at least full time) I'm finding this guy not being used and frankly would like to see it go to someone who could put it to more use. I already have a Snap-on Solus Pro which takes care of the majority of work for me as one in every five cars I service now on the side is a Toyota product. That leaves the Vetronix sitting there gathering dust. I purchased it used from the parts department. It has been programmed to perform exclusive tests on vehicles up to '07 and retrieve data and DTC's from all OBD-II Toyota Vehicles. It can do EVAP Tests, SRS Re-calibrations, ECU reprogramming, Key and transponder programming, etc. It has the DLC3/J1962 / CAN Interface Module Cable as well. It does not have the OBD-I cable ( you have to pick that up separate). It does not have it's original case (bought it that way). It needs a new AC power adapter / charger. Basically to address this you need to throw nothing but non-rechargeable AA batteries in the cartridge or match up another AC Power supply cord ( you know like the one's that power devices in your house and are sold at radioshack). The screen when powered up does have a few lines that go across the display like an ATM that's seen it's share of use. That's about it. So if anyone already owns one of these then they know these are hard to come by and could use a back-up here it is. Also would do great for the weekender that want's an in depth look at the BCM, ECU, ABS, SRS controls of their OBD-II vehicle. So basically here's the deal if someone wants to throw up an offer or has something to trade feel free. I have nothing to hide and stand behind my sales. I just would like to see this go to someone who could really use it as I hate to see something like this remain idle. Please just specify as to if you want me to throw in a set of rechargeable AA's or not as I do not usually store batteries in Electronics that rarely see use. Here is a link to the pic:

Yeah I tried to correct that asap. I guess what I was trying to imply was that if anyone had anything to offer wether it be parts or funds to throw something up if they wanted as I'm not asking for something unreal. I think most people who figure out what it is visit ebay or other sites to see what these things go for and get scared off due to bookoo (spelling ) prices. I figure with the parts or offers it's kind of a I help you, you help me thing.
