Which 4Runner should I get?

Hey guys, sold my '86 4X4 due to wanting fuel injection since it was a DD, and it was a single cab, and owning two single cab trucks is lame if you want to haul people. So I now have around fifteen hundred bucks and I'm searching for a 4Runner, but I'm having a hard time finding a 85-89 worthy of buying, and have came across a 1990 4Runner 4X4 22RE 5 Spd. It has 245K harsh miles on it, no body damage, no rust, decent interior, but the brakes are shot, and it needs exhaust work, which is great cause I have tons of exhaust pipe and toyota brake parts.. So I can fix it for free.. I also have the 4" Superlift I bought for the '86, all new front suspension parts for any IFS truck, 4" lift shocks, and brake lines.. So I'm contemplating buying the 4Runner, but with so many miles on it the engine will be shot in 50K, Its Toyota Tough, but Its had a rough life I can tell. Think I oughta just buy the 1990 for a grand and be done with it? I need some input fella's..

Well, I'd buy the truck and rebuild the motor. Don't forget gears depending on your tire size. You could sell off that 4" stuff to make up for a GOOD motor rebuild and then pick up a WABFAB(shameless plug) balljoint spacer/rear lift kit.
