1998 4runner keyless entry/alarm harness

Hello everyone,

I bought an rs3000 keyless entry/alarm brain and glass censor off of ebay with the remotes. But it didnt come with the wire harness to plug it into my
4runner. I didnt think it would be a big deal to get it some where else online or from the local junk yard. But it has turned out to be impossible. The junk yard has only 1 4runner and it does not have the wire harness, and all of my searches online have turned up fruitless. Does anyone on here have one they can sell me or help me locate it? I have a 1998 limited 4runner. 4 wheel drive, i dont know if there are anyother options that matter but its a pretty standard 4runner. Your help is VERY appreciated.

The other option is, I have access to a NEW rs3200 alarm kit, with the install kit, but the person who has it, told me that it is not directly compatible with the 1998 4runners, like the wireharness are not the same, and it would require way more work than the rs3000 systems. Is there anyway to make this work in my car? It would be pretty cool to have the newer/nicer system installed instead. again your help is extemely appreciated.

i don't see why the RS3200 would not be compatable... does that RS3200 come with remotes?

you have to wire in each pin individually on the RS3200 anyways, so i'm guessing that each coloured wire might be different between the newer trucks and the older ones, but the principles are the same... if you had both install books, i'm sure you could make it work...
