don't get me wrong, I think it's great that they are having a 4x4 show in Myrtle. I lived there for over ten years & there is only one 4x4 shop even in town, up in Little River. So I'm glad to see some intrest generated in that area. But I would rather go on a trail ride than go to a show.

i think a southeast 4roc would fare better then just sc with members from GA and NC if NC does end up falling apart.
that would be a good sized group.. could keep the meets from being too far for members like GA/SC border or SC/NC border places |

I don't know what happened to NC4ROC it was going really strong for a while but then it just dwendled away. It is my understanding that NC4ROC was one of if not the strongest chapters in the country. I think if we all join together for the SE4ROC we can have an even stronger presense! Let me know. If it all goes through I have a great connection on getting some shirts printed up! Let me know.

I really think it is a good idea however don't really see the need for an additional website IMO. I think we could just use this section of yotatech and it would save us alot of trouble and it would be easier for newcomers to find us. I think a basic website about SE4ROC wouldn't be bad but IMO we just don't need another forum. I think it is a good idea to have a website for newcomers to visit and see what the group is all about and maybe have member listings with pics of thier rigs with some upcoming events and contact information. I really think we should keep all posting here just to cut down on the time it will take someone to moderate another forum. If everyone decides to have another forum that is fine and I will support it 100% but I just wanted to give my $.02. I really like the idea of having a SE4ROC group though and once again I will do what I can to help.

What's the deal with the site? I've tried access it yesterday and today, but I get a page saying Page cannot be found. Hope it gets up soon. I know it's kinda slow right now but the more publicity we get on it, then hopefully the more members.

I was the head of the NC group when it was in full force. I have to agree with keeping the forum on yotatech and having an informative site off the YT site. Take a look at the SE4RJ forum. Props to brian for getting it started but the idea of checking a whole other forum just for a meet doesn't make much sense to me. I have enough forums to check, why add another? I'm no pro at web-design but I can get the job done. Here is my last attempt at the NC4Roc site. We had nc.4roc.com When we had the national 4Roc site up but that went down due to cost/use. I say lets K.I.S.S. and leave the talk to the board thats already established and we check regularly already
Is there any more interest in doing this? I have space to host stuff, if someone wants to split the annual fee of the domain let me know and I'll get right on that. I still have my guy that can make up decals whenever. We will need to decide on a new logo though. the SouthEast needs to come before the 4Roc for it to make sense. Or we might be able to figure something out... |

I think their is some particular interest, I just may need more help in having a bigger (head up) of some ppl to get this going. Im so dang A.d.d. I forget to check this part and I have so much going on I dont know if I could do this myself.
With 2 others I think we could get something going. I think a website with a link to this board here would work fine. |
