TX, LA, OK, AR

How many Texans are there? I realize there aren't many of us (pathetic considering the size of the state). Maybe if there aren't enough from just TX, there could be a TX, OK, AR, LA region?

edited the subject line to include all 4 states. maybe that'll spark some interest.

There is not many of us from LA either. I think a multistate club would be a good idea until there are more members from individual states.

Well I'm stationed in Germany now, but will be going back to OK when I am done here ( wifes in OU Law). So If we don't have enough people from OK than a multistate chapter would be great. I know I would be in for sure.

I'm in Texas. College Station here.

I think a multi-state chapter sounds like a pretty good idea. I don't know if we could do much for outings and meetings. I wouldn't mind taking a little trip every now and then if I can work it out.

DFW here... Problem is, Texas is so flat... unless you live near Big Bend. I'd rather drive up to Colorado or New Mexico for some action. I guess it depends if you like to wheel in mud or if you like to do runs in the hills. I'd rather head for the mountains myself. OK and AK have some decent runs but for an all-day trek with some camping thrown in, it's a 12 hour ride to paradise.

San Antonio here...used to live in Shreveport, LA until about a year ago. I would definitely join if we had a chapter.

I'm in El Paso. There are a couple of other guys here in EP that post from time to time. I was wondering how hard it would be to make a West Tex ROC since we're so far from you guys.
