4ROC.XX or XX4ROC or XX.4ROC?

How do you think we should abreviate the names for the State Chapters?

For Example:

1. 4ROC.CA 4ROC.FL 4ROC.TX
2. CA.4ROC FL.4ROC TX.4ROC
3. CA4ROC FL4ROC TX4ROC

Depends what you're using the abbreviation for.

Websites (as someone else mentioned) would have to
be either XX.4roc.org or xx4roc.com/org.

Stickers etc would probably be better as 4roc.xx.

Hmmmm.

So I of course voted xx4roc.

I still like my idea of keeping the guts of the sticker the same, but just have them cut in the shape of your respective state.

I guess that may cause an issue for those of you in boring states that don't have an easily recognizable shape though.

I agree with Scottiac, for web sites it needs to be xx.4roc.org, for stickers, I like xx4ROC

Me too. Isn't Colorado just a rectangle?

Very similar to the WATTORA logo. I wonder why...? Heh-heh.

"Hey look, it's a CO4ROC member (or is it a WY4ROC member?)

Hey, what Colorado lacks in shape, it more than makes up for in contour. We should be so lucky...

PA's shape is pretty darn close to a rectangle. How's that for irony.

Ha! What is that, the 4ROC Abyss?

I'm thinking the states will need to be implemented a little differently!

I wonder how much crap we'd catch for using the state flags?

That would be okay, except state flags are even less recognizable than the shapes of the states. I think you just have to keep it strictly to a logo (where the true definition is just a piece of text only without a symbol). I apologize on behalf of Wyoming and Colorado! Although, that is only if we choose everything to be uniform. Just looking at a few TTORA sites, Washington included the state on their banner where others did not. So, whatever the popular consensus is on that I suppose.

As to the original question, I think it flows better with XX4ROC, primarily when reading everything out.

That's a good idea, but here's where the problem lies. When I designed the logo for WATTORA and even this 4ROC logo, I needed to keep in mind that decals, t-shirts, thong underwear and such will all possibly be made with this logo on it. So the image had to scale well from small to large. Detail and number of colors needed to be kept to a minimum due to cost and difficulty of printing. Multiple colors and fine details are really hard and expensive! It all goes back to KISS. Which is why I would recommend somthing more like this;

Somthing clean and simple. You get fancy and you end up shooting yourself in the foot!

Just my $0.02.

I was thinking of something like this for showing the state chapters on the stickers:

Heres what the stickers would look like if placed on the rear windshield and on the white paint of Corey's rig.

I'm going to have to go with Gene's design with the state in text across the bottom, although I think we're going to have to start a different thread for voting on the sticker, this is for the official abbreviation for the state chapter designation.
