Cool!
Hey- when you guys are on Yotatech reading other threads, and you happen to see someone from Washington, send them a PM and give them the scoop on what we're trying to do. They might not be aware of this whole 4ROC thing.

Hey I see a bunch of you guys are on the coast but I can bring you plently of membership from right here in Central Washington. I have actually been interested in starting up an SUV club here but have not had the connections or time. Looks to me as if you guys have got it going. So let me know if you want Central Wa. on your map. [b]:tomcat:[size=1][size=3][font=courier new][color=blue]

Hey Big-
Sweet! Eventually we'll get organized enough to collect some small due (for the sticker mostly). For states that are really big, we've discussed breaking things up, so that there would be a 4ROC:Eastern WA, 4ROC:Central WA, etc. In the mean time, we've got to figure out how to do it. So, get your friends together, about the only requirement for membership is to own a 4-runner. Keep your eye on this thread, we're hoping to get alot of the details worked out this week.

How do I get a club logo? Have you all hooked up and met anywhere yet? Are there any other 4Runners in the club that are lifted? Mine is lifted with a 4 inch Touch Country lift currently sitting on 35 inchers. I want to lift it another 3 inches with a body lift and possibaly another 2 inches with a coil spacer lift giving me 9 inches of lift sitting on 37 or 38's. What can I say I like BIG toys! I wanna know about your toy's you guys, so tell me & brag a little. As soon as I get in gear, I will put a pic on the site of my toy.

BBB,
As you might have guessed- this whole club thing is still in the works, and just got started up about a week and a half ago. No stickers available yet, but soon, and hope to get a website up as well. This club will eventually have all types of 4-runners from stockers and big beasts like yours! I'm just getting started on mine, probably not going to get too crazy with the lift just yet, at least not until its paid for!

We've got an unofficial run that I'm trying to get together during the week, but we'll be getting monthly meetings and trail runs together pretty soon. Are you going to the PNWYJ?

I wish I could go. Unfortunately, I'll be in Colorado Springs for a class. Oh well, there's lots to do in Colorado. I guess I'll catch you guys on the next one...

Jim,
Are you talking about the yotajam? We'll be trying to get some 4ROC washington runs together pretty soon, so keep your eyes open for those.

I have a question for anyone who knows an answer. I just installed my roof mounted light bar with four KC's & want to know what is the best wiring ideas. I am worried I will use to small of a guage of wire or a weak switch. I was thinking along the lines of an extra battery for the light bars own power source. I just wanted someone elses ideas. Okay guys, since interest seems to be dropping, we've got to move on this quick. This is what I propose, but am welcome to alternatives.
Without the state chapters up and running, there is no need for a national organization. So, I propose a trial period of three months in which the state chapters will focus on getting their individual clubs up and running, issue stickers, hold meetings, etc. I will post a model charter which will be the basis of all state chapters, open for revision by any of you, but once we start, all state chapters will be abiding by the same rules. This is crucial for later organization into a national organization. Each state chapter will be responsible for designing their own website. However, the State charter will have basic requirements that will give some uniformity to all the sites. Again, this is crucial for later organization. On October 1st, 2003, the heads of the state chapters will get together, and discuss whether to unite into a national org. Discussions will happen before that, but Oct. 1 will be the deadline for making a final decision to stay as seperate 4 runner clubs. Comments?
