If anyoneis interested in obtaining funding for a project they'd like to do, here's some info from Arlene Brooks that may be useful.

In March, Interagency Committee for Outdoor Recreation (IAC) will host its annual Grants Workshops. This workshop is designed to help organizations interested in applyng for grants to develop outdoor facilities.
The goal is to provide information and materials needed to apply for grant assistance. Workshops topics will cover: What types of projects are eligible; what are the long-term responsibilities if a grant is awarded; and what new IAC policies will impact the application process?

Workshops are free; begin at 9 a.m. - dates and locations are as follows:

Wednesday, March 14 - Big Bend Community College, Moses Lake, WA.
Wednesday, March 14 - Cowlitz Co. PUD, Longview, WA.
Thursday, March 15 - REI, Seattle

To register for the event you may use the online registration form <http://www.iac.wa.gov/iac/workshops_2007.htm > this will assure IAC will have enough supplies available at each workshop for the participants.
