Damn new cars and their plastic "bumpers..." Sweet work with finding the craigslist replacement though...

Could be a good thing. Last March I was stopped at a stop light, behind another person that was stopped. Then they just backed into me as if they were going to backup and make a U turn. Damaged my stock bumper and valance. His insurance paid enough that I got front AND rear Warn Rockcrawler bumpers for just a little extra.

Yeah more to it... no one cared to stop and defend me, so of course the guy said he had a green light... even though I followed a guy into the intersection about 25 feet in front of me. So its down to the insurance companies to decide whats going to happen.

would love to put on some road armor or ARB but for $140 for the bumper on craigslist i couldn't pass that up. I'l save up a little longer and put one on this year.

Someone beat me to it, ya, x10 get a real bumper. I had a heavy off road bumper/brush guard on my 85 and when I T-boned a new camry they needed a flat bed tow truck (probably a total) and I drove home w/o even a scratch!

I only do light off-roading and actually like the multi-piece plastic bumpers. I've replaced all four corners at different times from tree encounters and they only cost something like $65/ea. and take under an hour to R&R.
