Stability-Control Switch

Do the 2007-2008 FJ's automatically turn off Stability Control when one turns on A-Trac while in 4Lo? Does SC automatically turn off WHENEVER A-Trac is activated?

I am trying to understand why the 2009 FJ added a switch to turn Stability Control off and on. I thought SC was automatically turned off while in 4-wheeling mode. Thanks

For auto trans, when you switch into 4-Hi, stability control is turned off. For Manual, it's turned off when you lock the center diff.

I think they added the switch so you can switch it off when in 2wd (for auto) or 4-unlocked (for manual)
