Reg, gas or High test

I'd say go with what the vehicle calls for in specs. After all guys, you might want to consider that those engineers that your mechanics seem to know so much more than, spend billions on designing these rigs to run a certain way for peak performance and longevity/reliability.
But remember, it is your car and you can do whatever you want with it.

There is a post over at www.FJCruiserForums.com that has a TSB stating that 87 octane fuel is fine and the door sticker on the FJ's was incorrectly printed.

Well I didn't pay attention to the Premium requirement until recently. I was getting really crappy gas mileage and before you say it gas is gas. There are only three companies the make gas and the only difference is the additives.
Anyway I kicked up the extra $4 for the tank of premium and my gas mileage is where it should be according to the specs. I'm sticking with premium.
