My simpler dual battery setup

Added a dual battery setup. I went with a manual approach, with a on & off switch mounted under the hood next to the battery to isolate the battery's. The switch is rated at 300amps and I ran 1/0 welding cable between them and the ground to the frame. The winch is feed from the extra battery.

I made the battery tray out of 1" angle iron and use a strap to secure the battery.

very nice... this mod keeps slipping down my list but after seeing yours I may need to bump it back up to the top.
