Factory Fog Light Switch

I thought i would share this find... I know the factory fog light switches are going for some crazy $$. When searching for a switch for my Hella 500s I fould this.. its made by Hella and comes in a Toyota parts bag # 00550-35976. Its slightly larger than the new style switchs in the FJ, same size as older toyota stock switches. A few minutes with a file to trim off some ridges inside the hole on the dash and they snapped right in. The look very nice. I mounted them in the two pop-outs left of the steering wheel. The best part is they are only $6...

I bought three or four of those switches a few months back. You have to cut/grind off a lip in the switch panel for them to fit. It's an easy task with a dremel. Once the lip is removed, it's a great fit. It looks good in the switch panel. There are pictures on the blue site.

Also, if you find yourself needing the switch right away, go get one from your dealership. IIFC they cost arount $12-$14 there.
