Daytime Running Lights

Has anyone been able to disable the DRL's. I know on my 4Runner I was able to cut a wire. But since the FJ is a little nicer than the 4Runner, I don't want to start cutting wires that I have no idea where they lead.

I'm not sure if your aware of this but if you start the vehicle while the parking brake is applied the DRLs are off. Its not until you release the brake do they come back on. I mention this because i was going to do the DRL switch hack mainly because when i am camping and wish to start the vehicle at night i didnt want the DRLs coming on. Now that i know the parking brake trick i decided I didnt want to mess with adding a switch.

doesn't really work in my situation, I have $85 headlights in there, and already burnt out one, so I was more going for the less that I use them ( being on all day) the longer they will last
