hi, i'm trying to buy a steering damper for my 98 4wd that is beefier than the monroe one, which is the only one i can find online. i've found several that look like what i want but they are for 93 to 96 t100's. i'm looking for something like kyb,rancho,bilstein, ect.

is there a difference between 96 and 98 t100 steering dampers? maybe the way they mount

could anyone point me towards a damper or damper kit for a 98 t100

I got a KYB one from Orielly. My Monroe one failed and they have me option of a heavier duty KYB one as replacement. I had to pay about $10 for "upgrade" damper. I do not have the part number but if you ask them they do have one.

It may be Pro-Comp and not KYB but I'm not sure. I will look into it. It fixed my wobble and loose feel when driving.

They are all the same frame so I dont see why an earlier one wont fit. Nothing changed at all.
