Water leakage

1994 t100 3vze: Water is leaking from the front (lower) of engine after truck has been driven and warmed to operating temp. AND only after truck has been stopped for 1 to 2 hours. I'm thinking by-pass hose or therostat??? Has anyone had this problem? Can you help? Thank you.

Thanks - yes I figured it out since I posted original question. I did all the work to remove the water pump BUT (stupid me) didn't replace it, AND it is still leaking, oh well. Great experience. Well I'm off to buy a new one and hopefully do it right this time. Thank you again. Pete

Yes but the housing didn't have a groove like the original and I also used the included felt type gasket. It did the job. Don't have a newer vehicle then my 94 t100 and didn't know that the water pump and thermastat were together so I did some extra work but it is worth it.
