Found a VSV for '95 T-100
Well, I found a salvage yard that says it has the vsv for my automatic 4wd. I am just afraid it is probably in the same condition mine is in. They want $50 for it. It's 150 miles from me. Sounds kind of pricey.
It's off a '95. Think I should maybe hold out and try to find a part from a later model T-100 or 4-runner or Taco? |

Have you tested yours? Coil should have a small resistance (under 100 ohms) and the solenoid should "click" with power application. If that is OK, check for free air flow through when powered up. If blocked, try cleaning the air passages and see if you can open them up. I still have the original VSVs on my '85 4Runner, they last a long time.
